Mark Downing is a Sinatra style singer and has a passion singing big band music. He has spent many hours developing Sinatra like phrasing and can also sing Dean Martin songs in Italian. He has performed in many night-clubs in Hollywood, and recently at Naples Italian restaurant on the City Walk in Downtown Disney, as well as Sorella Italian Restaurant in Bakersfield CA where he would sing 45 songs a night in 3 hour sets from 6:00-9:00pm. He also has recorded three times at Capitol Records in Hollywood. Currently he is studying with renowned voice coach Lis Lewis in Sherman Oaks. He also has some music charts from actual classic Sinatra records so musicians can accompany him in live performances. He resides in downtown Bakersfield and occasionally visits his yacht “The Mary Ann” which is docked in Channel Island Marina.
